A Work Bench Can't Be a Tool – It's a Table, isn't It?
There is an old saying in the construction business, "don't work harder ... work smarter." I'm not in the construction business, but it seems that Rockwell had this and so much more in mind with their latest labor-saving innovation, the Jawhorse workbench. It has become my favorite tool, and is a combination sawhorse, vise, and work bench that is strong, compact, versatile, and easy to use. It's like having a second set of hands and when working on my projects around the house it saves me a lot of time, labor, and money.

Built out of solid steel, the forty-three-pound Jawhorse work bench is more than just strong. Its powerful clamping jaw can deliver up to a thirty-seven-inch wide, one metric ton squeeze on anything that needs to be held still. The benchplatform itself will hold up to six-hundred pounds of whatever needs to be put on it. If you think that such a powerful device as this would take up a lot of room in the garage or storage shed-nothing could be further from the truth. The Jawhorse, when folded up into its storage position, takes up less area than a dining room chAir when I put it away until my next project.
In addition to being strong and compact, the Jawhorse work bench is extremely versatile and easy to use. Its mighty jaw can hold just about any large object at just about any angle. With a metric ton of jaw-squeezing power, the Jawhorse ceases being "just another tool and actually acts as an extra set of hands that you need when working on difficult projects. With a few easy pumps on thefoot step, the Jawhorse securely and safely holds whatever it is that's being worked. This offers me an extra degree of safety by allowing me to use both hands while operating dangerous power tools. While no tool is perfect and it will take some time for me to discover all its uses, the Jawhorse is built to last and, I'm convinced will serve me faithfully for years to come.
One last thing about this amazing work bench, it is very affordable for everyone. In fact, the Jawhorse is a money-saving tip. Having one will allow you to do Jobs that you would have needed help with or had to outsource. Projects that I would have never attempted before are now possible.
